Initial Contact
This can be by email, phone or fax (numbers at top of page and right) and we are equally happy to respond to any of these methods.

If it is photographs of specific items you require by email then its best to use email, but for an immediate response about availability of stock items or an item you are looking for which we don't seem to be advertising then phone or fax us.

Of course an even better option is to come and look round our large shop & ask us inperson, our opening hours are listed below.

Visit Us
We have over 9000 square feet of tools, machines and workshop equipment.

Our stock list runs to many thousands of items and is constantly changing. This web site lists the main items.

Almost everything has a price tag and you are free to browse and deliberate without any sales pressure.

There is plenty of expert advice if you need it. If you are coming to view a particular item it is best to phone first in case it has been sold.

Find us off the A24 about 10 miles north of Worthing on the south coast of England (see Find Us page)

Our opening hours are as follows:
Monday to Friday from 9am to 1pm and 2pm to 5pm. We are not open at weekends, except Saturday mornings by appointment.

For opening hours at Christmas time we should be contacted as we often close for up to two weeks.

Delivery
Smaller items for mainland Britain are usually sent by post unless they are over 3 kgs, in which case they are sent by carrier.

Customers requiring next day delivery should make this clear at time of order and we will advise if this is possible and at what cost.

Heavier/bulky items may be delivered by our own transport or by specialist firms. We have many years of experience of packing and transporting large heavy items to difficult locations.

We are usually able to quote postage, packing and delivery costs/dates at the time of order.

One of the services we most frequently use is the franchise based “Palletline” operated by a network of British transport and logistic companies. Consignments up to one ton in weight can be delivered throughout the UK, Ireland and the Channel Isles at very competitive rates, which include delivery by a vehicle fitted with tailift for easy offloading.

For overseas orders over a few kilos we always obtain “door to door” transportation quotes at competitive rates. Special packing cases and crates are made here on site to ensure trouble free transportation.

We regularly send major items of equipment all over the world including the USA, Canada, Australia, Africa, Japan, India and Europe.

Payment
Note for EEC countries: All prices quoted are in pounds sterling and exclusive of VAT.

VAT at the current rate of 20% is payable on the total value of the order including packing and delivery.

Non British EEC customers who are registered for VAT will not be charged VAT, as long as they provide a valid registration number. Only books and manuals are exempt from VAT.

We accept payment by VISA, ACCESS and SWITCH cards. When ordering please include the card number and expiry date. Also include the issue number for SWITCH cards.

We will contact you to confirm availability and total costs including post, packing and VAT etc, before processing any card transaction.

Cheques should only be sent once a quote has been given for the total cost of an item including post, packing and VAT etc. Cheques should be made payable to: “G and M Tools”

Payment may be made by Direct transfer direct to our bankers by prior arrangement.

We are happy to accept payment by PayPal. Please email us for details.
